- Google or Facebook authentication information when you choose to sign in with those services
- Student or parent/guardian account information
- Learner type
- English level
- Learning goals
- Class selections
- Attendance
- Teacher feedback
- Platform activity
- Payment and subscription status
- Basic device, usage, and analytics information where applicable
For child learners, parent or guardian information may be used to manage the learner account and related communications.
How we use information
We use this information to:
- Create and manage accounts
- Provide classes and learning materials
- Recommend levels and classes
- Send class confirmations and reminders
- Provide teacher feedback
- Process enrollment and payments
- Improve the Gecko platform
- Provide customer support

Service providers
Gecko may use trusted third-party providers to operate the platform. These may include, for example:
- Supabase for authentication and database infrastructure
- Google for Google sign-in and Google Meet class links
- Meta/Facebook for Facebook sign-in, messaging, and advertising measurement where configured
- Stripe for payment processing
- Resend for transactional email
- Hosting, storage, and analytics providers used by the application (such as Vercel and related services)
We share personal information with service providers only as needed to operate Gecko and provide our services.
